Mercedes is a Washington native and proud mother with a lifelong love for animals. After spending six years in the food service industry, she decided to pursue a new career path aligned with her passion for animal care. Inspired by her two dogs and bearded dragon, Mercedes began her journey in veterinary medicine with the goal of providing the best possible care for them—and for all the pets she encounters.
She graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in October 2025 and plans to return in the near future to obtain her Veterinary Technician License. Outside of work, Mercedes enjoys spending time with her family, baking homemade bread, and relaxing by the river.
